In the main bar you will find a menu that will guide you through different language tasks and projects you are going to do. They are:

 

1. Home: refers to the main page in our website. There you will be welcome, and you will read basic instructions about how the VLRC functions. Also, some information to parents, teachers and other community members about the project.

 

2. Collaborative Project: In this section of the VLRC you are going to read basic information about the project: students’ roles, the use of English in the VLRC and, finally, a general description of it. This permits you a clear understanding of the VLRC and how you may access it and use it with autonomy.  

 

3. Resources/Tasks:  In this subpage of the VLRC, you will access the different resources: 

• Audio records of current situations in different contexts: family, friends’ circles, neighborhood, school life, the city, the country and other international contexts.  

• Videos covering diverse situations in the local, national and global contexts. Video-clips, short documentaries, TV reports, movie fragments/tracks; TV news fragments, etc.

• Diverse readings, such as short stories, cartoons, short articles from digital newspapers/magazines.

• Forums participation so that you are able to meet people and communicate with them.

As you are active learners, the VLRC provide you opportunities to plan and create your own products and resources such as voice recordings, videos, reports, etc. These products may be uploaded in the subpages in this section.

 

4. Help desk:  Any doubts about the VLRC functioning, tasks and methods? Here you may have the answers.

 

5. Forum:  They will allow you, the learners to participate actively expressing your opinions, ideas and views on the proposed topics through posts. Also, in this sub-page you will meet other learners and English tutors to help you in your language learning process.
