Objectives and Final Product of the Project

 

Dear Girls and Boys in our Community:

 

There are some specific learning objectives you need to achieve during the development of the project. In order for you to succeed in this project, it is very important that you know those objectives so that you will know how to plan your work.

 

Let´s take a look at those objectives:

 

LO 1:   To recognize and apply listening strategies used when watching/listening to short audiovisuals (videos)

 

LO 2:  To report about particular events described in different online oral reports taken from websites such as VOA and UNICEF in which adolescents perform a main role.

 

LO 3:   Report orally on one of the situations described in the reports form VOA and UNICEF webpages, highlighting the most significant topics there.

 

LO4:   Design and create an audiovisual product (a video) following the guidelines presented through a video tutorial.

 

In order to achieve these learning objectives, you must:

 

  • Work collaboratively with other peers in order to create an audiovisual product on Active Citizenship of Girls and Boys in our Country and the World.

  •  

  • Apply video design and production procedures/techniques in order to communicate particular messages about your communities.

 

Final Product

 

At the end of the project you will present an audiovisual product. You will have the possibility to show and share what you have learned and also your collaborative team work, and creative skills. 

 

The theme of the video will be on “Active Citizenship of Girls and Boys in our Country” in which you will be able to express and share ideas, views and expectations on a particular socio cultural issue that affect the colombian society nowadays: The Post-conflict Process.

   Possible topics connected to

   the main theme:

 

  • How to promote Girls’ and Boys’ leadership in our Communities in the Colombian Post-conflict process.

  • The roles of Girls and Boys in the post-Conflict process in Colombia.

  • Challenges of Girls and Boys through their Educational Process in the Colombian Post-Conflict process.

  •  

In the video, you and your peers (2 or 3) will be able to communicate and share your own ideas, views and expectations on the topic having into account information and procedures seen in the previous activities of the project.
